Der Ankergrund ist gut, aber relativ tief.<br /> Im Servicehäuschen am Hügel gibt es eine Toilette und eine kleine Küche mit Aufenthaltsräumchen.<br /> <br /> Die Salzerei, welche Gösta Hannells Surströmming und die bekanntere Marke Röda Ulven produziert, kann besichtigt werden (man rufe vorher aber an, um etwas zu vereinbaren). Es riecht nach Fisch und der Gesamteindruck ist vom Handwerksbetrieb und von den vielen privaten Ferienhäusern geprägt. Aber die Gegend ist schön, gegen Westen findet man einen idyllischen Sund und einen Waldpfad zum Moorsee bei Skagskase, etwas nordwestlich des Liegeplatzes findet man eine Fischerkapelle aus dem 17.
