In Wirklichkeit fehlt der Steg und die Brygga ist total zerfallen. Anlegen ist zwar möglich, die Bojen halten noch, aber der ganze Bereich ist wegen Einsturzgefahr gesperrt.<br /> Im Vik etwas nördlich der Hotellbrygga wurde ein brauchbarer Ersatz eingerichtet. Man liegt hier zwischen Auslegern an einem Schwimmsteg.<br /> Trotzdem ist die Insel, welche historischund kulturell viel zu bieten hat - im 19. Jahrhundert war hier Europas zeitweise grösstes Sägewerk - insgesamt 2023 aber keinen Besuch wert: 2017 hatte man eine zweijährigeTotalsanierung geplant. Dann wurde entdeckt, dass weite Teile des Bodens durch Holzschädlingsbekänpfungsmittelrückstände verschmutzt sind.
