Die Ansteuerung bei Tag ist einfach, bei Nacht auf Grund fehlender Leuchtfeuer etwas anspruchsvoller. Das Hafenbecken ist bei Wind aus allen Richtungen gut geschützt. Steg aus]]<br /> <br /> Balestrate liegt in der Mitte des Golfs von Castellamare. Die Ansteuerung bei Tag ist einfach, bei Nacht auf Grund fehlender Leuchtfeuer etwas anspruchsvoller. Das Hafenbecken ist bei Wind aus allen Richtungen gut geschützt. Zur Zeit gibt es keinerlei Infrastruktur. Noch ist der Hafen eine rießige, geschützte &quot;Ankerbucht&quot; mit ausreichend Wassertiefe. Es scheint Pläne zu geben, im östlichen Teil des Hafens eine Marina zu bauen. Neben dem Hafens gibt es einen Sandstrand.<br /> <br /> Die Ortschaft Balestrate liegt erhöht und ist über eine Treppe mit 128 Stufen zu erreichen.
